Scope
Designed and curated the Agave brand and experience. Lead weekly mindful runs in NYC.
When I arrived in NYC in my early 20s, fresh out of college, I found solace and clarity in running outdoors. It became my refuge, providing me with peace and the necessary space to work through the struggles of transitioning to a new chapter in life.
Inspired by this transformative experience, I set out on a mission to build a safe and inclusive space for those who shared my love for running. I wanted to create an environment where individuals could not only have fun and connect with others, but also find balance amidst the chaos of city life.
Additionally, I had a dream to infuse my Latin heritage and passion for aesthetics and good design into a brand that would truly represent who I am. Thus, the Agave brand was born, embodying my vision of a vibrant community that embraces both wellness and the beauty of Latin culture. It is my hope that through this brand and experience, others can also discover the joy, strength, and sense of belonging that running can bring.
Backstory
The concept of the Agave Run Club came to life through a process of exploration and experimentation.
I played around with different colors, creating mood boards and mood words to capture the essence of the brand. After much consideration, I landed on the name "Agave," which resonated strongly in both Spanish and English.
It embodied the oasis-like feeling I wanted to convey, evoking a sense of tranquility and rejuvenation. The vibrant and energetic colors, inspired by earthy tones, were carefully selected to reflect the brand's celebration of wellness and individuality.
